Our Leduc Spray Foam Services
We offer a variety of Polyurethane and Polyurea solutions for your Leduc home or business. If you need spray foam services for your agricultural business, farm, or industrial building – contact us for custom spray foam solutions.
Spray Foam Insulation
Our spray foam is the perfect solution to a high energy bill. Polyurethane foam will expand to fill voids and fill even the smallest cracks by creating an air-tight barrier. Our foam boasts an R5.7 per inch thermal factor. Due to our Canadian foam being a 2lbs density, you’ll typically only need no more than 2 inches. We recommend spray foam insulation to all customers as the best return on investment.
Attic Insulation
In Leduc we can get some cold winters – and windy ones! Attics are our last defense to keep the heat in – why? Because heat rises. In our experience, over 40% of heat loss occurs in attics due to improperly insulated attics. To keep heat in you’ll need an airtight seal and over R60 or an RSI value of 10.43 per Alberta Building Code, and because Leduc is in Climate Zone 7A.
We always recommend spray foam for attics because of its ability to seal and fill voids, and its ability to create an air barrier. Other options we offer are loose insulation such as blown-in cellulose and blown-in fiberglass.
Sometimes in order to achieve the insulation requirements vacuum removal may be required, this is an option we have as well.
Concrete Lifting & Levelling
Concrete lifting, also known as slab jacking or foam jacking, is the task of correcting the height of sunken concrete. Maybe this is your driveway or garage floor, or even a patio. When we do concrete levelling we drill a small hole no bigger than a dime, attach a nozzle and spray foam gun and slowly apply the polyurethane. We take care to let the foam expand and lift the concrete to the desired height.
Once done, it’s as easy as filling the hole with some sand and cement mix to blend back in with the concrete – the hole becomes virtually unnoticeable.
Protective Coatings
At Spray Jack, we also specialize in Polyurea protective coatings. These coatings can be applied to almost anything, and once cured are potable. These are used for truck liners, tanks, boat hulls, commercial floors or any surface that requires defense against chemical or traditional wear and tear. What makes our protective coatings unique is its ability to stay flexible and impact resistant yet durable and strong against long-term use.
Thermal Image Inspections
At Spray Jack, we offer thermal image assessments for your home or business. Not all heating issues are solved by adding insulation. Thermal scans can reveal problem areas by pin-pointing the location of heat loss. This could be in a corner on a wall, insulation that has settled, or insufficient air-barrier allowing drafts to enter the home. We typically use these heat scanners for assessing attics, walls, as well hot/cold containment enclosures.
